Healthcare SEO That Gets Your Practice Found on Google and in AI Answers

Before most people book a clinic, they ask Google a question. More and more often, Google answers it with AI before it shows a single link. We help your practice show up in both places, in the regular results and in the answers AI tools give. Then we show you how many calls and bookings that brings in.

You'll speak with Salman Mehmood, our founder. If SEO isn't the right move for your practice yet, he'll tell you.

Illustrative example

How patients find a clinic on Google now

The search box hasn't changed much. What comes back has.

Step 1

They ask a question

Someone types or says something like “is 40 too old for microneedling” or “physio for lower back pain near me”.

Step 2

Google answers first

Often there's an AI summary at the top, then the map, then the regular results. ChatGPT and Perplexity give one answer with a few sources.

Step 3

They pick a source they trust

They click the clinic that answered clearly, or the one the AI answer named.

Step 4

They call or book

If the page answers their question and makes booking easy, they get in touch.

SEO used to be about ranking in a list of links. Now your practice also needs to be the source those AI answers quote. That's what people mean by AEO and GEO, and it's built on the same thing as good SEO: clear, trustworthy pages that answer real questions.

What we do

How we do healthcare SEO and AI search

Four parts, roughly in this order. You don't need the technical side, but it's here if you want it.

Month 1

We find out what patients search for

We look at the services you want to grow and what people near you type into Google before they book. Then we check where your site shows up today, and where competitors are beating you.

Keyword research by service and location, Search Console and analytics review, ranking and competitor gap analysis, and a priority list agreed with you.

Month 1 to 2

We fix what's holding the site back

Slow pages, pages Google can't find and service pages that barely say anything all cost you rankings. We fix the basics first so new work has something solid to build on.

Technical audit, indexing and sitemap checks, page speed, site structure and internal links, title and heading fixes, and structured data (schema) for your practice and services.

Month 2 onward

We write pages that answer patients' questions

Each main service gets a proper page, and the questions patients ask before booking get clear answers. We write them so a patient can read them in a couple of minutes, and so Google and AI tools can quote them.

Service and location pages, question-led articles, answer-first formatting, FAQ schema, author and credential details, and internal links between related pages.

Ongoing

We grow your local presence and report on it

We keep your Google Business Profile complete and active so you show up in the map. Every month you see clicks, rankings, AI answer appearances and the calls and forms that came from search.

Google Business Profile optimization, local landing pages, review strategy, Search Console reporting including AI features, and call and form tracking for organic visits.

SEO takes longer than ads. Skinfinity's clicks started climbing a few weeks after we began, but for most practices the bigger gains take several months. Results depend on your specialty, location, competition and how much your site needs, so we won't promise rankings or a set number of patients.

Client success

What this looked like for Skinfinity Aesthetics

Skinfinity is a medspa in Mississauga. We started on their SEO in February 2026. These numbers compare the eight months after with the eight months before, straight from Google Search Console. Only about one in eight of those clicks came from people searching for Skinfinity by name.

Inside the AI numbers

One answer page did most of the work

Nearly 50,000 of those AI impressions came from a single article: Is 40 too old for microneedling? People ask that long before they're ready to book, and Google now uses Skinfinity's answer to respond.

The next pages on the list follow the same pattern. Is microneedling really worth it? How much does it cost in Mississauga? Clear answers to the questions patients actually type.

Questions practices ask us about SEO

Healthcare SEO is the work of helping a medical practice show up when nearby patients search Google for the care it offers. It covers the website's technical health, a page for each service, clear answers to common patient questions and the practice's Google Business Profile.

SEO helps your pages rank in Google's regular results. AEO (answer engine optimization) helps your page become the direct answer Google shows for a question. GEO (generative engine optimization) helps AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews mention and cite your practice. A well-built page does all three.

Nobody can guarantee it, and be careful with anyone who does. What we can do is make your pages the clearest, most trustworthy answer to the questions patients ask, because that's what AI tools pull from. For Skinfinity, Google's AI features showed their pages about 68,400 times in under five months.

Longer than ads. Skinfinity's clicks started climbing a few weeks after we began, and eight months in they were up 152%. For most practices, SEO takes several months to show its full effect, and competitive specialties or big cities usually take longer.

Yes, in a couple of ways. Google holds health content to a higher standard because bad advice can hurt people, so accuracy and clear credentials matter more. Most patients also search locally, so your map listing and location pages carry a lot of weight.

Yes, and for most practices it matters as much as the regular results. Patients look for care close to home, so we work on your Google Business Profile, location pages and reviews to help you show up in the map when people nearby search for your services.

They do different jobs. Google Ads puts you at the top as soon as it's switched on, but stops when you stop paying. SEO builds visibility you don't pay for per click, but it takes months. Many practices run ads for patients now and SEO for the long term.

Usually not. Most of the work happens on the site you already have, plus new pages. If your site is very slow or hard to update, we'll tell you on the first call.
